the new york times style magazine grids it up
Wow. I really sucked at scanning this week. In any case, most of the articles in the Talk section of the New York Times Style Magazine followed this same three column grid. There are three columns of text on each page, but in both cases, the images bleed across two of the three columns. This is a simple design, and it's very effective, especially because the photos in this article are so strong.
